Crispy, buttery garlic bread made in the air fryer with just a few simple ingredients. This quick and flavorful side dish is perfect for pasta nights or as a snack on its own.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick white bread or French bread, cut into small pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (57g) salted butter, softened (or unsalted butter with 1/4 tsp salt)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture liberally on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Optional: Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and/or red pepper flakes.
  4. Slice the bread into smaller pieces and place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry at 350ºF for 5 minutes or until the edges are golden and crisp to your preference.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use mozzarella or nutritional yeast as cheese substitutes.
  • To make ahead, spread butter mixture on bread and freeze; cook from frozen when needed.
  • Fresh herbs are preferred, but dried parsley works in a pinch.
  • For a milder garlic flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw.
