A vibrant and sparkling non-alcoholic drink made with muddled mixed berries, fresh citrus juice, fizzy soda or sparkling water, and a swirl of edible glitter. Perfect for parties, brunches, or any festive occasion, this mocktail is fruity, refreshing, and fun to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
  • 2 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon edible glitter (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh berries, lemon or lime slices, mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker or glass, add the mixed berries and honey or simple syrup.
  2. Use a muddler or spoon to gently crush the berries to release their juices.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice and stir to combine. Let sit for 1 minute.
  4. Fill serving glasses halfway with ice.
  5. Optional: strain the berry mixture to remove pulp for a smoother drink.
  6. Pour the berry mixture into the glasses.
  7. Slowly pour the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda over the berry mix.
  8. Sprinkle in the edible glitter and stir gently to swirl.
  9. Garnish with fresh berries, citrus slices, or mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen berries can be used; thaw slightly before muddling.
  • For a lighter drink, use unsweetened sparkling water instead of soda.
  • Adjust sweetener based on berry sweetness and personal taste.
  • Prep the berry base up to 24 hours in advance and store in the refrigerator.
  • To batch for parties, multiply ingredients and mix in a pitcher, adding glitter just before serving.
  • Freeze the berry-citrus base in ice cube trays for future use.
