This Christmas Coffee is a festive and aromatic spiced coffee drink featuring classic holiday flavors like cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. It’s easy to make in your favorite coffee maker, perfect for warming up gatherings or cozy mornings at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground dark roast coffee
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 8 cups water
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Insert a coffee filter into your coffee maker or French press.
  2. Add 1 cup ground dark roast coffee, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, 3 teaspoons ground cardamom, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice to the filter.
  3. Pour 8 cups water into the reservoir and brew as you normally would.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into mugs and top with whipped cream if desired.
  5. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 3 days if you want to enjoy it iced later.

Notes

  • Adjust spice quantities to taste for a bolder or milder flavor.
  • Use decaf or your favorite unflavored ground coffee if preferred.
  • Store extra spiced coffee blend in an airtight container for future use.
  • For an iced version, refrigerate after brewing and serve over ice with creamer.
