Garlic Parmesan Green Beans Crispy: Your New Favorite Side Dish That’s Easy, Cheesy, and Addictively Delicious

Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Crispy garlic parmesan green beans are a quick and flavorful side dish made by roasting fresh green beans with garlic, parmesan cheese, and simple seasonings. Perfectly cheesy, garlicky, and roasted to golden perfection in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1½ pounds green beans
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh lemon juice, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim both ends off the green beans and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add the oil, minced garlic, grated parmesan, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and toss until the green beans are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 15–20 minutes or until the beans are tender and the parmesan is crispy and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure crispiness.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for better melting and texture.
  • Frozen green beans can be used without thawing, though roasting time may increase slightly.
  • Substitute parmesan with Pecorino Romano or Asiago for a different flavor profile.
