A festive, no-bake holiday treat made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and chocolate cereal, shaped into pinecones and dusted with icing sugar. Perfect for Christmas parties, edible gifts, or a fun family kitchen activity.

Ingredients

  • 308 g Oreos (2 packs, approx. 10.8 oz)
  • 150 g full-fat cream cheese (about 2/3 cup)
  • 55 g chocolate cereal (e.g., Coco Pops Chocos or similar)
  • Icing sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Line a medium-sized tray or large plate with baking paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Place Oreos in a food processor or blender and crush them into fine crumbs. Alternatively, use a ziplock bag and rolling pin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with cream cheese. Mix well with a spoon, then use your hands to press into a large dough ball.
  4. Divide the dough into six equal parts. Roll each into a ball and shape into a pear form with your fingers.
  5. Press chocolate cereal pieces into each shaped ball, starting at the bottom and working upwards, overlapping slightly to resemble pinecone scales.
  6. Dust the completed pinecones lightly with icing sugar for a snowy finish.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • If the mixture is too sticky to shape, refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
  • Try peppermint Oreos for a holiday twist or slivered almonds for a more elegant variation.
  • Add edible glitter for extra festive flair.
